How do I clean my lenses?Updated 4 months ago

We strongly recommend using the microfiber bag provided with your sunglasses or goggles for cleaning the lenses. Alternatively, you can use proper optical cleaning products. Please avoid using paper, handkerchiefs, or any other cloths, and remember to wash the microfiber bag regularly to prevent dust and particles from damaging your lenses. 
 
Dirt, dust, and moisture can negatively impact the materials in our lenses and obstruct your vision. If your lenses have dust, spots, or other impurities, we suggest removing them from the frame (see "How do I replace my lens?") and rinsing them under room temperature bottled water. Allow the lenses to air dry naturally. Avoid using a washing machine or dishwasher for cleaning. 
 
If spots persist, follow these steps: 
 
1. Gather the following items: 
  - Measuring cup 
  - Teaspoon 
  - Dishwashing detergent 
  - Goggle bag 
 
2. Mix 1 teaspoon (5ml) of detergent with 1 ¼ cups (300ml) of water. 
 
3. Dip a soft cloth or your SHRED goggle bag into the detergent solution. 
 
4. Gently wipe the lens to remove water spots. 
 
5. Rinse the cloth or goggle bag under clean water and wipe the lens several times. 
 
6. Allow the lens to dry completely in the open air for about 40 minutes.
