How do I make sure I purchased the right size helmet?Updated 4 months ago

When you receive your new helmet, it's essential to check for the right fit. Here you can find simple guidance to help you assess whether your helmet fits correctly!

Place the helmet on your head and fasten the chin strap securely. For the best fit, also put on your goggles to see how they interact with the helmet

It's too small if you feel:

Discomfort: if the helmet feels uncomfortable or presses too tightly against your head, it might be too small
Positioning: the helmet should not sit too high or be prone to sliding around. If it easily shifts or could potentially roll off your face, it may be too small
Adjustment: refer to the “Can I adjust a helmet’s fit” section for guidance on making fit adjustments

It's too large if you feel:

Movement: If the helmet moves around on your head or there’s noticeable space between the padding and your forehead or cheeks, it might be too big
Resistance: ideally, you should feel a bit of resistance when putting the helmet on. If there’s no resistance at all, the helmet may be too large
Adjustment: for instructions on how to adjust the fit, please consult the “Can I adjust a helmet’s fit” section

It fits perfect if you feel:

Snugness: The helmet should fit snugly against your head without moving easily. It should feel secure but comfortable, and not shift with your hands.
