How long can I use my helmet?Updated a month ago
Helmets typically last up to 3 seasons if not involved in a crash, though this can vary based on usage. To maximize the lifespan, store the helmet in its cover or case, in a cool, dry place away from heavy objects or extreme conditions.
At the start of each season and periodically throughout, inspect your helmet for any signs of damage such as cracks, deep scratches, dents, or broken foam. Any visible damage or significant wear indicates that it's time to replace the helmet.
Remember to replace your helmet immediately after any crash. Even if there are no visible signs of damage, the internal structure may have been compromised, and this can’t be accurately assessed without disassembling the helmet.
