What size arm guards should I get?Updated 4 months ago
Choosing the right forearm guard can be quite personal and varies depending on individual preferences. For instance, a shorter athlete at 5'6" (167 cm) might find a larger guard more suitable, as it extends further under the gloves and provides extra coverage. Conversely, a taller athlete at 6'2" (188 cm) might prefer a more streamlined, smaller guard.
To find the perfect fit, use a measuring tape to measure the length of the area you want to cover and compare it to the guard length specified in the product description. Here are a few tips to help you:
- If you tend to bruise easily around your elbows, measure with your arm extended, going past the elbow to the edge of your tricep
- Not using Slytech Gloves/Mitts? Our race gloves and mitts feature a unique flange that fits seamlessly with our guards, allowing for greater wrist flexibility. If you're using a different brand, measure with your wrist slightly bent, starting about 1 inch (2.5 cm) above the wrist crease
